    No doubt, Richard Galliano is an outstanding Master of Accordion. However, that may well be only one face of him. In L'hymne a l'amour he reveals himself as an extremely refined human being whose soul is freely projected with his music. Galliano has been able to do something that many people would have regarded as an impossible dream: to further upgrade some of Astor Piazzolla's music removing from it the natural aggressivity of Buenos Aires and replacing it with the serenity and tenderness of his own spirit. Wholeheartedly, five stars!
